Next have them glue these pieces to an additional piece of paper. This way they can try to make something different (a dog, a circle,etc.) depending on their age. My daughter & I have turned TP rolls (the carboard only) into kalidoscopes & noise makers. We've used fabric & make up our own stories, then I sewed the fabric together...Took an old photograph, lamented it, then cut it into weird pieces to make a puzzle...The possibilities are only limited to your imagination.
