My daughter and I love to do cross stitch together. We will buy the same one and do it at the same time. A great way to spend quality time together.

Try to use some scraps of paper and have your girls cut them up. Next have them glue these pieces to an additional piece of paper. This way they can try to make something different (a dog, a circle, etc.) depending on their age. This helps to encourage their imagination and makes a fun guessing game when they are done.

Take everyday items & recycle them! My daughter & I have turned TP rolls (the carboard only) into kalidoscopes & noise makers. We've used fabric & make up our own stories, then I sewed the fabric together...Took an old photograph, lamented it, then cut it into weird pieces to make a puzzle...The possibilities are only limited to your imagination. Could depend on your daughter's age too :)
