I want to sell my arts an crafts from home. Do i need to have a tax id number for that?

   Check with the Comptroller’s Office in your state. They have a website. There is really no down side to having a Tax ID number. It will allow you to purchase materials that go into your crafts without paying sales tax. You would then have to collect the tax from customers, but it will save you money in the long run.
